5 standard lens made by Hermagis of france in the mid to late 1880's. 6 or some such thing. As for the condition, check pictures, glass is all clear.

It has a focal length around 310mm, and its little faster than most rapid rectilinear designs, with maximum aperture of f 6. I did contact a friend who knows all about these and here is his observation: this the short version of aplenty no.
