Conclusion:The Wollensak 13mm f1.8 Fastax Raptar Cine Military Lens is an excellent choice for professional cinematographers and photographers who value high-quality images and have the necessary skills to operate a manual lens. Its ultra-wide-angle perspective, fast aperture, and all-metal construction make it a great tool for low-light situations, landscapes, architectural photography, and cinematography. However, its high price and manual focus and aperture controls might be a deterrent for some users.
Recommendation:If you're a professional cinematographer or photographer with a budget and the necessary skills, the Wollensak 13mm f1.8 Fastax Raptar Cine Military Lens is a worthwhile investment. For hobbyists or those on a tighter budget, you might want to consider other options, such as manual or autofocus lenses with a faster aperture and stabilization features, which can still provide excellent image quality at a lower price point.
Aperture blades open and close properly. Focusing works, but focus ring is very tight. But I don't see anything broken. Wollensak 13MM f1.
Since front glass is not as important rear. Aperture works good. Ring turns freely. 8 lens is in poor condition.
Shipping is free worldwide. It has some dust inside. Front glass has lots of scratches.
Some are deep, nicks. Rear glass looks good. Front cap is missing.
I don't see any fungus or haze inside. Still I don't think it will affect image quality. It shows normal wear on the exterior, paint and metal parts. So it needs lube.
