5cm Summaron f It has the modern postwar diaphragm, f 22, with iris stops that have beautiful precision leitz feel. 5cm 35mm is tiny and light. The leitz bakelite lens-keep is in lovely condition externally, but has two bottom edge chips visible when top off, one smaller, a little larger.

They don't affect the functionality. 5 screw mount Soonc, feet fookh hood vintage bakelite lens-keep this is my second Summaron on and the last I have leitz Leica Its delightfully vintage, as well practical.

This one, 767145, is from the second year of production, 1950, and marked in feet. There are some light cleaning marks on front element but not many, and internal haze, dust the odd bubble, which of course is completely normal. The haze, which is light, more towards edges, and pretty much disappears when lens stopped down to f 8.

The fookh hood is period correct for this lens and in excellent shape, just a few very small marks signs of use. I like the simpler early engraving on lens front and hood, no gumbo number cluttering things up. It still seals tight or the closed look of unit. One of the great leitz screw mount lenses, wide-angle Summaron 3.

This lens can be used with digital cameras, 3/4 for example, and also a bayonet mount converter.
