The samocaflex 35 is shaped as a conventional 35mm camera with mirror box and viewing lens grafted above taking body serial number engraved direct vision finder. The latter was mainly added to allow easier framing when taking vertical pictures, for which waist-level finder is very inconvenient,the viewing screen has a condenser brighter image. The minimum focusing distance is 3ft. Next to it are the rewind unlock lever and shutter release.
