There is dust and a very, very light haze within which only visible when shining flashlight through, nothing that would effect photo quality. The exterior shows less than average signs of use, mostly in form a bit paint loss on button. The diaphragm once in a while gets hung up, then works perfectly. The f stop and focus work well, but is a bit stiff.
Comes with original lens caps. Up for buying is an old Isco cottoning Westrocolor 50mm f1.
