The glass is clean and clear. I have alto of other high quality exakta German lenses up for offer. When I shine a bright flashlight through the glass can see some internal dust specs and one very tiny of fungus.
It takes excellent photos. With the right adapter this lens will work on new digital cameras. The diaphragm works fine as does its preset option. Here is a vintage Caspeco-t f4.

I attached the lens to my Sony next and have included some pictures took with below. The focus turns smoothly. The lens body is very clean and has been well cared for.
